Ways To Serve

Serve: Because together, we can move mountains

We have many places where you can help!

By serving in the various areas of Supportive Role Ministry at Rhema Bible Church, members contribute to the effectiveness of their local church while making new friends in the process!

Are you outgoing? Do you love meeting new people? Our Connection Team members greet people coming into the church and make visitors feel welcome and comfortable. Training is provided.

Are you passionate about praying with others and seeing people saved, healed, and filled with the Holy Spirit? If so, Altar Care is the place for you. Our team serves at the close of each service to pray with those who come forward. We will train you.

A smile and kind greeting—even in the parking lot—show our guests and church members they are welcome. Join the Traffic Team and be the person who makes a great first impression. Traffic Team members also help with parking and keep pedestrians safe.

Rhema Bible Church has multiple opportunities throughout the year for shuttle drivers—both on-campus and on road trips. Having a CDL license is helpful but not required. Join our team today.

Are you proficient in Spanish? Join our team as we translate services and minister to the Spanish speakers of our community.

Sound Technician: Do you have experience as a sound technician? Join our audio team. Because we serve in a variety of services around campus—and because service times vary—we have many opportunities for you to get involved. Experience is preferred. But if you want to learn, we will train you.

Lighting: Are you creative? Do you have an eye for excellence in lighting and set design? Come join our lighting team and help enhance our services, which are broadcast around the world. Experience is preferred.

Want to help touch the world? The video department is responsible for broadcasting Rhema’s weekly services and special events around the globe, and we need you. We’re looking for camera operators and studio crew who will serve Rhema Bible Church and Rhema Bible Training College in a variety of capacities. Experience is preferred, but training will be provided.

Would you like to be part of the media team? RBC uses ProPresenter to display lyrics, scripture verses, and videos during services. No experience is necessary. We will train you.

Taking Communion is a cherished sacrament for believers. Communion Helpers assist in preparing the elements prior to the Communion service. Come join our team.

Do you possess organizational and technical office skills? We have a place for you. Assist our office administrators in basic office tasks for a few hours each week.

Do you love helping others find what they’re looking for? Don’t miss this opportunity to volunteer in our bookstore. We have Bibles, books, music, and tons of gifts for all ages and occasions. We’d love to have you join our team.

Do you have the gift of hospitality and a heart to serve families in their time of need? Our funeral workers demonstrate love and care in a practical way. They prepare food and serve meals to families who have lost loved ones after the funeral in RBC’s Reception Hall.

Are you artistic and gifted in calligraphy? The Church Office could use your talent periodically throughout the year for baby dedication certificates. A sample of your work must be submitted.

Do you want to gain vital ministry experience and make a difference that will last for eternity? Nursing home volunteers minister to local nursing home residents. We need those who can sing, play an instrument, teach and preach the Word, or just give someone a hug and a smile.

If you love helping others, this is the opportunity for you. Each week our We-Care Center provides food to individuals and families in our community who are in need. Be a part of our distribution team and make a difference in someone’s life.

Are you looking for a volunteer assignment that is varied, fast-paced, and essential to the operation of our church? Become a part of our dynamic usher team. Ushers provide assistance in every service by taking up offerings and providing seating direction and healing line support. Training is provided.

Help us make a worldwide difference! As a member of the RCC team, you will connect with our Word Partner Club members and receive incoming prayer request calls from around the world. Training is provided, and flexible hours are available.
